Q: Can I claim back the course fee from my employer?

A: Yes, usually you can claim back course fees from your hospital trust, deanery, or PCT, although you should check the local policy and the total amount of study budget available. We will provide a receipt when you book and a certificate of attendance on request after you attend the course.

Q: How many CPD Points / Credits can I get from attending one of your courses?

A: The RCGP Revalidation Guide states that 1 hour of learning is 1 CPD credit. Most of our 1 day courses provide 6 - 7 CPD credits, our half day courses provide 3.5 CPD credits. To help you prepare for revalidation, the number of hours of learning is stated on the course description page, as well as on your certificate of attendance.

Q: Can I combine discounts (e.g. MPS members discount + group booking discount)?

A: No, only 1 discount can be used for any order.

Q: Can discounts be applied retrospectively?

A: No, discounts cannot be applied retrospectively.

Q: Where can I find details of the course venue and directions?

A: Full details of the venue for every course, including maps and directions are available on our venues page.

Q: If I book a place and then cannot attend, can I get a refund?

A: You may be entitled to a partial refund depending on the amount of time left until the course date. Cancellations 22 or more days before the course can get a full refund less a £35 admin fee.

Cancellations with 21 days or less to the course are not entitled to any refund, unless we can replace you. Full details are available in our terms and conditions.

Q: Can I swap my booking to a different date?

A: You can request a swap with at least 22 days notice. Swaps are subject to availability. There is a £35 fee for any swap requests.

Swaps are not permitted with less than 22 days notice.

Live Stream Webinars

Q: How does it work?

A: You can access the live stream from the comfort of your home (worldwide access) - we will register you on to the webinar and email you instructions on how to join the stream within 1 working day of booking. This email will contain a link to download the Zoom webinar software, it is compatible with PC, Mac, iPhone or Android devices. On the day of the webinar, simply use the link from the email you received, and you will be automatically logged in to the live stream.

Q: Do we receive any course materials?

A: You will receive a reminder email the day before the course with a link to the PDF course booklet that can be printed out if you wish. Post course links/material will also be emailed to you.

Q: Will the content be the same as attending the physical course?

A: You will have access to all the same teaching and content as the physical attendees on the day. There will be a dedicated member of staff present at the course to provide technical support and allow you to interact by asking questions.

Q: What should we do if we cant login in on the day?

A: Any issues accessing the webinar on the day, please email our office.

Q: Is it possible to watch the live steam at a later time/day?

A: As the course is being streamed live, you will need to access the webinar as it is running so it cannot be paused. We will have recordings of the course available for those who have booked but unable to attend on the day. The recordings will need to be processed and so will be available 10 working days after the course. You will need to contact us via email if you require these recordings and access will be granted.
